For all you stargazing Buffs, don't miss this weekly open house at Sommers-Bausch Observatory (On clear nights only). Come check out the telescopes and learn about the night sky! All are welcome and admission is free.Ěý

Ever wonder what’s it like on the sun’s surface? Fiske Planetarium has you covered. In Solar Superstorms, Benedict Cumberbatch narrates a fiery presentation of the sun’s surface. You’ll get to witness the largest eruptions in the solar system, violent solar tornados and more. Tickets are $8 for students and can be purchased .

Stop by the CU Museum of Natural History for an upcycled fashion show. The show’s clothing is designed by local artists in grades 6-12.
New Buffs
Southwest of Main Campus | 900 Baseline Road
Those who are new to Boulder can visit one of the city’s most iconic landmarks; Chautauqua Park. This beautiful area sits at the base of Boulder’s Flatirons, and has several hiking trails and a nice lawn space to study or lounge.
West of Main Campus
If you haven't already, check out University Hill. The Hill is one of the most popular places for CU students to visit and hang out. It has something for everyone; coffee, art, retail and music.
