Join The Connection for Trivia Night! Today’s theme is Jurassic Park. Sign up for free with a team or individually. Sign-up starts at 6 p.m. at The Connection front desk. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers!

Enjoy a night of climbing at the Rec Center climbing gym! Outdoor Program staff will be available to provide belay support and instructional advice. The event is open to first-time and experienced climbers. All expressions of the female and non-binary identity are welcome.

Attend this workshop to hear from speakers on the direct connection between food and climate justice. These discussions, demonstrations and presentations will highlight the leadership of many local BIPOC leaders that are centering food sovereignty as solutions to address climate change. to be part of this event.

Come to this networking night to hear from some of CU Boulder’s most prominent alumni employers. Alumni recruiters present their company, what it means to be a Forever Buff and open job and internship opportunities.

Join the Rec Center and Pride Office for an LGBTQ+ swim night. All identities, allies and body types welcome! No registration necessary.

St. Patrick’s Week at the Rec Center

Visit the Rec Center for a week of fun, free events with lots of swag available.

7–9 p.m.Beach Park on the Hill
Join Off-Campus Housing and Neighborhood Relations at Beach Park on the Hill to warm up with some fire pits! Snacks and hot beverages will be available. All students are welcome.

8–10:30 p.m. CHEM140
Come watch a movie on the big screen with Program Council. Tonight’s film is Legally Blonde. There will be free popcorn, and the event is open to all students and guests. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the film begins at 8 p.m.

Bonus: 4things to do on Saturday

9 a.m.–noonChautauqua Loop
Join fellow transfer students on a 3.6-mile hike to the Flatirons where you can meet new friends and manage your personal well-being. Meeting location will be at the base of the Chautauqua loop.

7:30–10 p.m.Farrand Field
Join Residence Hall Association for our Shamrock Showdown—the campus's premiere St. Patrick's Day competition. Come out and enjoy fun games and inflatables to compete against your friends, get a bite of some yummy food and the chance to win prizes on Farrand Field.

8–10 p.m. UMC,The Connection
Come and join the Silent Disco party in Club 156 as an early St. Patrick's day celebration. Bring a friend to dance the night away and enjoy free bowling! Food and snacks will also be available for purchase.

7 p.m.Ball Arena
Get a free ticket to see the Denver Nuggets take on the Toronto Raptors at Ball Arena in Denver! Pick up your ticket at 10 a.m. March 8 in UMC 330. One ticket per student with a valid Buff OneCard. If you want to go to the game with a friend, please pick up your tickets together. No tickets will be held.
