This weekend brings the CU Involvement Awards, a free hip-hop fitness class, Community Game Night, a workshop on preparing for finals, an outdoor film screening of Avengers: Endgameand more.

Take a 30-minute break today and participate in a mindfulness activity. This guided meditation can undo stress, soothe the nervous system and help you feel relaxed and revitalized. All are welcome, and there is no need for past experience with meditation. Registration is required.

Come learn about the best test-taking strategies to ace your finals. In this workshop put together by Disability Services, you’ll learn how to create a study schedule for your final exams. Open to all students.

Free Friday Power Hour: Hip-Hop Groove

Come get your body moving before the weekend and join the Rec Center’s Free Friday Power Hour fitness classes. This dance fitness class feels more like a party than a workout. Learn easy-to-follow hip-hop dance moves with sculpting routines to target your glutes, thighs, abs and arms, all while jamming to the hottest hip-hop music. You to save your spot.

The CU Involvement Awards is a free and open event that celebrates students, student organizations, faculty and staff who exemplify leadership and passion across the Boulder community.

Bring your popcorn, grab a friend and come watch Carrie. This is the story about a shy girl, an outcast to her peers and sheltered by her religious mother, who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

Assistant Professor Benjamin Teitelbaum from Ethnomusicology and International Affairs describes key episodes from his interactions with radical right figures, including long term-contact with white nationalist singer Saga; former Trump advisor Steve Bannon;and ideologue of the nationalist Sweden Democrats, Mattias Karlsson. His lecture explores the drawbacks scholars and journalists face when they initiate contact of this kind, but argues it is nonetheless necessary to better understand the particulars of our historical moment and where politics and society are headed.

Join the Senior Class Council and Program Council to celebrate the end of the school year with an outdoor film on a giant inflatable screen! Catch a free screening of Avengers: Endgame, the recent concluding film in phase threeof the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The event is open and free for all students, but capacity is limited. is strongly encouraged and will give you priority for attendance, but not guarantee entry to the event. Students are recommended to arrive by 7:30 p.m., with the film starting at 8 p.m.
