Your License Plate is Your Parking Access

CU Boulder features "virtual" parkingÌýaccess, with no need for printed hang tags. The vehicle's license plate information is registered and associated with the parking access, so your license plate is used to identify your vehicle and is valid to park in only theÌýspecificÌýlot or zone you purchase. If there are no spaces in your assigned parking lot, please park in an available space in a lot near your lot and call Parking Services' Customer Services Specialists (303) 735-7275 before leaving your vehicle. Parking at meters and pay station lots requires additional payment.Ìý

Adding a New Vehicle

Virtual parking access isÌýverified with License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology through CU Boulder enforcement. The license plates of the vehicle(s) parking patrons plan to drive to campus must be registered with Parking Services. You may add a new vehicle/license plate by signing into theÌýÌýor calling the Parking Services' Customer Service Specialists.

Cancelling Your Parking

Student parking may beÌýcancelledÌýby completing and submitting theÌýCancel My Parking Permit form. You may be eligible for a pro-rated refund.

Alternate Parking Arrangements

All lots are subject to special event parking arrangements. If a planned event or a construction project requires assignment to a different lot, you will be notified via email. The LPR will verify that you are valid in the assigned alternate lot.Ìý

Motorcycle Parking

Motorcycle parking will be issued by license plate.
