Confirming your intent to attend CU Boulder
Please confirm your intent to enroll at CU听Boulder with the Office of Admissions. Make sure to pay your $200 non-refundable confirmation deposit by May 1 (fall term) or December 1 (spring term).听For more information, log in to your Buff Portal account.听听
Orientation鈥揘ew Student Welcome Program
During music orientation, incoming students will have specific activities, such as ensemble auditions, as well as keyboard and theory placement assessments.
Advising communication
Fall applicants: As early as mid-May,听you will receive several emails from the College of Music Office Undergraduate Studies.听These emails will provide important information regarding course registration, orientation and more.听Please make sure to read all the information carefully.听
Spring applicants will be contacted individually for advising between Nov. 1 and Jan.听15.
When to register for courses
New, incoming music students will be pre-registered for music courses. However, students will still need to register online for non-music courses during self-selected registration periods in听July.听Music majors will register for classes during the first two weeks of the registration period in July.听Students who have declared听a double degree with Music will also need to check with the other college/school for registration dates.听Spring applicants will be registered for courses during their advising meeting.
