Celebrating the passage of our graduates into the company of alumni artists + scholars
On May 9, 2024, we鈥檒l come together to recognize the accomplishments of our fall 2023 and spring 2024 graduates ... with pomp + circumstance! In addition to the College of Music recognition听ceremony which will also be , the听Class of 2024 will be invited to participate in the听campuswide commencement ceremony听held each spring at Folsom Field stadium; the approximately 90-minute university commencement听ceremony begins at听8:30 a.m., this year featuring听Steve Wozniak鈥攃o-founder of Apple and a technology entrepreneur鈥攁s commencement speaker. No tickets required.

3:30 p.m. ()鈥揜ecognition Ceremony (Grusin Music Hall, C112). Doors open at 2:45 p.m.; seating is first-come, first-served.听No tickets are required, but seating in Grusin Music Hall is limited. We encourage our graduates to invite only close family and friends (2-4 persons) to the College of Music recognition ceremony; additional听guests may observe the ceremony via livestream.
