Kevin is currently a post masters social work fellow with CAPS. Kevin earned his Master of Social Work from Augsburg University in Minneapolis and completed clinical internships in both crisis intervention and a program supporting transition-age foster youth. Prior to joining CAPS, Kevin spent the last five years working with federally funded college access programs. In this role, Kevin worked specifically with first-generation college students and LGBTQ+ identified students. Kevin’s driving passion is making higher education accessible to all students.

Kevin’s approach to student wellness involves a systems and relational approach and incorporates aspects of MI, CBT, ACT, Emotion Focused Therapy and Solutions Focused Therapy.
