The following items are required for a complete application for admission to the MS Accounting and TaxationÌýProgram at the University of Colorado:

1. Complete the .
2. For review and decision purposes you are required to upload unofficial copies of your transcript(s) in the online application.
   • We require one copy of the scanned transcript from each undergraduate and graduate institution that you attended, including includes community colleges, summer sessions, and extension programs.
   • While credits from one institution may appear on the transcript of a second institution, unofficial transcripts must be submitted from each institution, regardless of the length of attendance, and whether or not courses were completed. ÌýFailure to list and submit transcripts from all institutions previously attended is considered to be a violation of academic ethics and may result in the cancellation of your admission or dismissal from the university. Ìý
   • ONLY after you are recommended for admission will you need to provide official transcripts.Ìý
3. One letterÌýof recommendation from faculty or employers who can address your capacity for graduate coursework.
   • When you complete the online admission application, you will be asked to provide the names and addresses of your recommenders. Secured links are mailed directly to recommenders upon submission of your application.
4. Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) scores areÌýoptional for MS Accounting and MS Taxation applicants.
   • If you feel that your application materials would materially benefit from a GMAT score, you should still consider taking the test. You have the option of taking the test and learning your score prior to sending it to schools of your choice.
   • We recommend applicants with GPAs below 3.0 submit the GMAT.
   • If you choose to submit scores, theyÌýmust be less than five years old as of the application deadline.
   • Please have official scores sent directly to CU by the testing agency. The school code is 4841. The minimum recommended score is 550. Contact GMAT () for information about the exam.
5. TOEFL Scores – All students are required to be proficient in English. If English is not your native language, please take the TOEFL exam. We do not accept IELTS.Ìý
   A minimum score of 100 (internet Based Test) or 600 (Paper Based Test) is required by the department.Ìý You are not required to submit TOEFL scores if:Ìý
   • Your native language is English; or
   • You have completed at least one year of full-time study at a U.S. institution, or at an institution in a country where English is the native language (i.e. Australia, U.K. etc.) within two years of when you will begin your studies.Ìý​
