  • Tuition and fee rates are generally based on residency classificationguarantee group, college/school/program or area of study, type of degree and number of credit hours. Please note that undergraduate out-of-state and international tuition is a flat rate for 1–18 credit hours in fall and spring. This flat rate does not apply in the summer.
  • These rates apply to Boulder Main Campus only. Classes taken at Continuing Education or other CU campuses have separate tuition, fees and billing.
  • Costs may vary depending on your area of study. Rates may be subject to change.
  • For indirect costs such as books, transportation and personal allowances, see Example Financial Aid Budget or Estimate Your Bill.

Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend CU Boulder. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as on-campus housing and food, books and supplies, and items that are not billed by the university, such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance. View more information about the full cost of attendance.
