Energetic student crowd embraces VP Biden, ‘It’s On Us’ campaign to end sexual violence

An engaged crowd of 1,500 - mostly students – were in attendance at the CU Recreation Center Friday afternoon to listen to Vice President Joe Biden talk about the importance of involving all members of a campus community in curbing sex assault and supporting victims.

Campus and city police to step up enforcement of city's crosswalk laws

Â鶹ÊÓƵ and city of Boulder police will step up enforcement of the city’s traffic laws in and around several of Boulder’s top locations for motor vehicle collisions involving a bicyclist or pedestrian beginning Monday, April 11. As part of the Heads Up Boulder crosswalk safety campaign, officers from the two departments will be at select intersections around the CU campus to give out warnings and issue tickets.

UMC to open all-gender restroom

The first multi-stall, all-gender restroom in the University Memorial Center will open in February. Located in the UMC’s second floor northwest wing, the all gender restroom was first proposed by the UMC Board, a branch of CU Student Government and the governing board of the UMC, in 2011.
