CU Boulder will hold a series of weekly COVID-19 updates for students, faculty, staff and parents/guardians each Tuesday through the fall semester. The first of these sessions will take place on Sept. 29.

Recognizing the growing concern about the increase in positive COVID-19 cases in Boulder, the city of Boulder, the Boulder County Public Health Department and CU Boulder are offering weekly community briefings to provide updates to and take questions from the public.

CU Boulder has expanded its weekly monitoring testing program to predetermined groups of staff and faculty identified as having regular close contact with students, colleagues or visitors鈥損articularly those working in the residence halls.

This fall semester, CU Boulder has recorded its most diverse and one of its most academically well-prepared classes of first-year students in university history, even as it's navigated the public health, financial and other impacts of a pandemic.

The Entrepreneurship Center for Music is stepping up its work to promote student projects and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mariah Green moved to Boulder for the CU Museum of Natural History's graduate program in museum and field studies. She ended up spending part of spring and the summer learning how to produce podcasts, as well as advancing her own paleontology research.
