Monday, Sept. 18

According to CU Boulder research, community gardening can play an important role in preventing cancer, chronic diseases and mental health disorders. Join the Farm and Garden Club for an evening of weeding, planting, harvesting and more. It can benefit both the Earth and your well-being.
Tuesday, Sept. 19

Urban spaces are occupied by many types of plants. Veteran plant forager is taking students on a guided plant walk this Tuesday. Come learnabout the world of wild edible plants and fungi in urban environments.
1:30–2:30 p.m. Vٳܲ
Counseling and Psychiatric Services (CAPS) is holding this free workshopthroughout the semester. Participants will learn stress management skills, ways to regulate emotions and more. Students are recommended to attend three sessions for best results.
Wednesday, Sept. 20
2–4 p.m. Visual Arts Complex loggia
De-stress this Wellness Wednesday and spend some time with pups from Lifeline Puppy Rescue. Time with dogs can reduce feelings of stress and loneliness. Additionally, attendees will get information on supporting fellow Buffs for Suicide Prevention Week.

National Hispanic Heritage Month is Sept.15–Oct.15. Celebrate with a cup of elote preparado (prepared corn) at the Dennis Small Cultural Center.
