This weekend brings guided meditation, a screening of Almost Famous, gardening, a new American play festival, an immersive Pink Floyd experience, a sexual assault awareness 5K, the Bluebird Music Festival and more.

There are two events per day at the 2023 Bluebird Music Festival! Enjoy a weekend of good music and vibes.


Friday, April 28

  12:15–12:45 p.m.   CU Art Museum 
You are invited to learn about a work of art and participate in mindfulness. This guided meditation can reduce stress and help with relaxation. 

   5–6 p.m.   Rec Center, Studio 2
Enjoy a free Zumba class at the Rec this friday. Don’t forget your Buff OneCard! 

   8 p.m.   CHEM 140
Enjoy a free screening of Almost Famous. The film centers around a high-school journalist following a rock band for a story. 

   10–11 p.m.   Fiske Planetarium   $8–$12
Submerse yourself in Pink Floyd’s music in this surround-sound show in the all-new 8K dome. Prepare yourself for an immersive journey presented by liquid engineers.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Join CU Student Government for the second annual 5K race to raise awareness. 

   10–11 a.m.   NCAR
Are you ready for a spring hike? Join the Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures group for a morning of trail exploration. 

   4–8 p.m.   Farrand Field
Health and Wellness Services and the Center for Student Involvement are hosting a carnival before finals week! Students will play games, enjoy music and more.


Sunday, April 30

   5–6 p.m.   650 Table Mesa
The Farm and Garden Club is planting at Table Mesa this Sunday! Join them for a relaxing evening of growing onions, flowers, carrots and lettuce.
