Fall Welcome is almost here, and the university wants you to help welcome new students and families to CU Boulder.
Fall Welcome starts with new student move-in on Aug. 19 and continues through Aug. 30. There are many different volunteer roles and ways to help, between move-in shifts, signature events and other activities. Here are three reasons to:
Help new Buffs move in to their residence halls
Moving is much more enjoyable when you have friendly faces to help you out! As a Fall Welcome volunteer, you can help create a seamless and fun move-in experience for students and their families. You’ll have the chance to see inside one of our many residence halls, share your advice and favorite places on campus. Plus, you’ll be sure to get your steps in for the day.
Do something fun with your department or group
A great way to break up your daily routine and bond with your colleagues is through volunteering! If you’re a part of a department or student organization that would like to volunteer as a group, follow the instructions on the Fall Welcome volunteer web page.
Get a CU Boulder T-shirt and snacks
Whether you sign up to help with move-in, traffic support or a signature event, you’ll get a CU Boulder volunteer T-shirt and other gear to wear during your shift. Snacks will also be on hand.
Volunteers are essential in creating a positive and welcoming experience for our new campus community members.!
