The Diversity Summit is finally here! The two-day conference will be held听this week on Nov.听8-9. This is an amazing opportunity to listen and interact with diverse leaders in the community, as well as on campus! The conference will commence听at 9 a.m. with an official听opening ceremony, followed by听programs听on developing the vital听skills and interactions that allow the community to be pro-active in encouraging diversity within听race, ethnicity,听political views and听abilities.听
The goal of the summit is to expose the campus听to conversations听necessary in听order to听foster an听inclusive social听environment.听Businesses such as Google and Apple will be making an appearance discussing the increasing听accessibility of their technology,听along with a听special performance by Denver听Youth Poet Laureate, Toluwanimi Obiwole. Come join the听conversation regarding inclusivity on听campus and have your student voices be valued听when discussing听social campus听climate issues.
