Outstanding graduates of the University of Colorado at Boulder will be recognized Aug. 8 in summer commencement exercises.
An estimated 1,030 students will receive diplomas in the ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. on the historic Norlin Quadrangle.
The outstanding graduates named by the schools and colleges are Kathryn Carole Lansink of Colorado Springs, College of Architecture and Planning; Colleen Michelle Quinn of Littleton, College of Arts and Sciences; Ondrej Valenta of the Czech Republic, College of Business and Administration; Robert Ignacio Pacheco of Louisville, College of Engineering and Applied Science; Eric Lee Anderson of Windsor, School of Journalism and Mass Communication; and Melanie Joy Peterson of Arvada, College of Music.
Three students will graduate with double degrees and 44 students will receive degrees with honors.
