Science Communication
CU Science Â鶹ÊÓƵy was an original member of the (PoP) network, a National Science Foundation-funded network of organizations that connect public audiences with scientists working in their communities.
Science Â鶹ÊÓƵy has since adapted the original PoP training program into a one-credit graduate seminar option offered through the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department each year, focused on science communication and engaged scholarship (EBIO6100 Science Communication and Outreach). The primary goal of this program is for scientists to learn how to effectively communicate their research to non-expert audiences. Scientists of all disciplines and skill levels are welcome to participate. EBIO6100 is offered for credit or for auditors, but space in the program is limited.
Details for the next session of EBIO6100 will be available next summer. Please check back.
