Arctic Rivers Summit:听December 6-8 2022
The Arctic Rivers Summit听took听place听in Anchorage, Alaska from December 6-8, 2022. This was听an in-person workshop to discuss the current and potential future states of Alaskan and Yukon rivers and fish and how we can adapt.听The Summit brought together more than听100 Tribal and First Nation leaders, community members, managers, and knowledge holders, western scientists, federal, state, and provincial agency representatives, academic partners, non-governmental organizations, and others. Thank you to our invited speakers, facilitators, note takers, drivers, planners, and IAC members all contributed uniquely to the success of the event. It was a memorable week. We received helpful feedback on how we can improve communication and co-produced science. The Summit was听held as part of a five-year Arctic Rivers Project funded by the National Science Foundation鈥檚 Navigating the New Arctic Program.
The three goals for the Summit were to:

- Inform the modeling
- Take Action
