Our Mission &Values

Give Us The F-ing Camera! (GUT-C!) is an inclusive artist collective at CU Boulder that supports underrepresented filmmakers and fosters diversity in the media arts. Taking inspiration from feminist praxis and inclusive set practices, GUT-C! combats the hetero-patriarchal norms of the film industry through community building, skill-sharing, artist lectures, and workshops.

GUT-C! is funded in part by Cinema Studies and Moving Image Artsand throughհ’s Innovation Incubator, a fund supporting multi-year projects that involve students, faculty, and staff to promote active, engaging, and experiential learning through the use of technology.

We work toward equity. Thus, participationin this organizationis open to ALL peopleof the Universitywho are sincere about intersectional feminist practice and commitedto diversifying the media arts feild.
