Furthers programs’ understanding of the Youth Protection Policy and procedures as well as provide guidance for compliance;
Centralizes processes including templates for compliance areas, required training, information and create community for campus partners working with minors throughout the year;
Establishes best practices and guidelines instructed by national standards to promote youth physical safety and mental, emotional and social health;
Connects programs with University of Colorado resources (HR, Risk Management, Office of Institutional Equity & Compliance, University Counsel among others) for services and support;
Connects programs to national and community programs that provide valuable resources in the K-12 outreach and education efforts; and,
Provides resources, support and information beyond the scope of the Youth Protection Policy that program providers find useful.
