With previous experience in Carnegie Elective Classifications and as an employee of PACES, Katie brings a community engagement focused skill set and sense of adventure to this inaugural process for the CU Boulder campus. A third-generation Montanan and proud miner's daughter, Katie is a passionate advocate for higher education's role in meeting community-identified needs across the Rocky Mountain West. Katie administers PACES Grants Tiers 1 and 2 and assists with various Colorado-focused community-engaged scholarship initiatives. In addition to implementing and institutionalizing community-engaged initiatives at the University of Denver, the University of Wyoming and the University of Montana, she served as the director of member services for Campus Compact of the Mountain West for eight years. In that role, Katie designed and implemented programs that served faculty, staff, administrators and students at 21 member colleges and universities and supported cross-campus networks and collaborations.
