With previous experience in campus-wide outreach and data collection and as an employee of RIO, Alicia brings a campus engagement skill set and sense of care to this inaugural process for the CU Boulder campus. Alicia (pronunciation: a-li-cia) is the frontline point of contact for RIO and helps resolve questions from all over campus, the community and the world. With over 10 years of experience in research development, Alicia’s passion lies in helping faculty reach their potential. She manages the PI Academy, Broader Impacts Network, center authorizations and reauthorizations, prestigious nominations, webinars and workshops, and RIO’s Faculty Conference and Travel Grant programs. As a first-generation graduate student, granddaughter of an immigrant and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Alicia is a safe and knowledgeable space to reach out to with any of your research questions, big or small.Ìý
