OIE brings CU to the world and the world to CU.
The Office of International Education (OIE) serves the Â鶹ÊÓƵ by:
- promoting international and intercultural community and culture on campus
- enriching the academic and cultural environment by facilitating the exchange of people and ideas
- collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to make international opportunities accessible and sustainable
International Education includes:
ISSS serves as host to students, staff and faculty from abroad and helps ensure their success. This includes:
- Providing advising, assistance, and logistical support for the University’s international students, scholars, and guests
- Advocating for and providing programming that furthers international understanding
- Promoting compliance with federal regulations governing nonimmigrants
Education Abroad (EA) offers academically-sound and experientially-rich programs that foster stduents' personal development and prepare them for a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
- EA administers nearly 400 programs in 70 countries around the world
- Over 1,700 CU Boulder students study on CU Boulder programs annually
The mission of International Education (OIE) is to actively promote international and intercultural understanding and to enrich the academic and cultural environment of CU Boulder by facilitating the exchange of people and ideas.
The CU Boulder community (students, faculty and staff) has a broader world view, has a richer understanding of other cultures, and is more tolerant of differences, as a result of the educational experiences offered by the Office of International Education.
