Development of advanced radiometer instruments for specialized radio astronomy experiments. Contributions include the antenna, front-end, and receiver for the Precision Array for Probing the Epoch of Reionization (PAPER), in situ antenna beam measurement systems using LEO satellite downlink signals, narrow and broadband feed systems for the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA), cryogenic LNAs and broadband front-end systems for Baryon Acoustic Oscillation (BAO) experiments and the Axion Dark Matter eXperiment (ADMX), and system development for the Green Bank Solar Radio Burst Spectrometer (GB/SRBS). Recipient of the 2020 NRAO Director’s Distinguished Performance Award.
