MASP鈥檚 Bound Programs are a year-long experience for motivated first year students who are first generation college students and/or members of historically excluded communities. Students will have the opportunity to learn about and connect to opportunities in their area (and related areas) of interest and build a strong听and inclusive community with students who have similar academic interests.听There are three Bound Programs, one for each of the divisions in听Arts & Sciences: Arts & Humanities Bound , Science Bound , and Social Science Bound听(see below for a list of majors included in each).听听

Each Bound program includes:听

  • Pre-Orientation

  • Success Seminar (1 credit hour in Fall)听

  • Weekend Experience

  • Symposium (1 credit hour in Spring)听

  • MASP Community & Resources (community and study spaces, community events, peer-to-peer mentoring, faculty mentoring, and free printing)听

Students who are accepted and participate in the Bound Programs will receive a $2000 participation stipend, $1000 in Fall 2024听and $1000 Spring 2025.听
