This is a general timeline for those taking the July bar exam. For those taking the February bar exam, all of these tasks should be completed a semester earlier.

    • Use your notes from Ethics class and prep materials available through and to prepare for the MPRE

  •  Review the application for admission to practice law to determine what information you will need
  • Spring semester of 3L year
  •  Submit a complete application for admission to practice law in the state of your choosing
    • Colorado has an April 1st deadline for the July bar exam

  • Spring semester of 3L year
  •  Work with a Financial Aid Counselor to include the cost of the bar exam in cost of attendance
