Dean S. James Anaya has appointed Associate Professor interim executive director of Colorado Law's Silicon Flatirons Center for Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship.
As previously announced, Phil Weiser stepped down as executive director of Silicon Flatirons and was sworn in as Colorado’s attorney general last month. An active search is underway for his replacement. A search committee has been formed and is chaired by Surden, an affiliated faculty member with Silicon Flatirons.
The new executive director of Silicon Flatirons will serve as a thought leader for the center, lead the center’s fundraising and external relations efforts, support the center’s academic and research programs, oversee the day-to-day programmatic and administrative functions of the center, and mentor and support students aspiring to work in the area of technology law. The full job description will be posted to Silicon Flatirons’ website soon.
