This is the web home of the research group of Prof. Scott Diddams. We seek听to develop optical measurement tools that lead to new physical听understanding and enable technological and scientific听breakthroughs.听 A central theme is the development and听use of听optical frequency combs听for quantum metrology.听This includes topics in laser science and engineering,听precision timing, optical clocks, astronomy, ultrafast lasers听and nonlinear optics, nonlinear nano-photonics, microwave听photonics, and spectroscopy from the UV to THz.听
