As an RSO leader, you should know an advisor won’t tell you what to do, but rather will encourage you to tap into various resources at CU andÌýensure you are getting the most out of your organization. We recommend you familiarize yourself with common student-org related terms,Ìýreview our expectations and consider your role in assistingÌýyearly student org leadership transitions. As a faculty/staff advisor, please remember your responsibility to report.

At CU Boulder, RSOs are not required to have at least one faculty or staff advisor. However, faculty/staff advisors help organizations maintain consistency from year-to-year and can offer advice on organizational decisions.
