• Organization Administrator: A member of the organization who has the authority to manage financial aspects of the organization. Org Admins are the only members that are allowed to make deposits and withdraw money from the account. They are also the only ones that can make reservations with CU Events Planning & Catering. An organization can have up three Organization Administrators at any given time.
  • Officer: Any student who holds an officer position, and is indicated as such within BuffConnect, may have access to manageÌýall functions of the organization’s BuffConnect portal, although they will not be able to interact with finances or reserve rooms on campus. Organizations may have as many officers as they want and students can be officers across multiple student organizations on campus.
  • BuffConnect:Ìý The online organization management platform that we utilize.Ìý Every organization receives their own portal to post events, news, and manage their rosters.Ìý They can also create forms, surveys, and utilize the system for assessment after hosting events.Ìý Many important forms and processes that Organization Administrators may interact with exist within this system.
  • Liaison: The CSI staff member who works with a student organizations to assist them in their operations including event and travel planning. Liaisons are assigned based on how organizations self-categorize.
  • Finance Agreement: The online form that all new Organization Administrators must complete before they gain full access. This formÌýeducates potential admins on how to manage organizations and all the policies and procedures associated with the management of an organization.
  • Good standing: When an organization is currently up-to-date on all organization information and is allowed to operate normally. They must be in good standing to make reservations with CU EP&C and gain funding for events and travel.
  • Warning status: When an organization has not updated their organizations information annually and therefor is not able to gain funding or make reservations with CU EP&C.
  • (EP&C): The campus department responsible for all on-campus event and meeting needs including room reservations, catering orders and event planning assistance. Organizations utilize EP&C to book rooms and order catering for meetings and events.
