Human Resources - 2019 Employee Learning Week Celebration
During the first week of December, organizations around the world celebrate Employee Learning Week. The week brings awareness to the important connection between learning and achieving organizational results. Human Resources-Organization and Employee Development (OED) invite you to recognize and celebrate CU Boulder staff who have embraced continuous learning.
During this week, we recognize employees who have participated in a professional learning opportunity during the past year such as:
Received a degree
Participated in an apprenticeship
Received a professional certificate
Attended a professional conference
Submitted an article for publication
Learned a new language
Taken a career-focused professional development course
Visit the Employee Learning Week page to learn more and to recognize employees who participated in employee learning over the last year.
As a supervisor:
Consider employees on your team that you would like to recognize for their participation in learning.
Attend to support your employees, or be recognized for your own learning.
Space is limited for the special screening of Heather McGowan's Sept. 25 talk.
ICYMI: Revisit the Sept. 25 talk by labor futurist Heather McGowan
Provost Russ Moore and Chief Operating Officer Kelly Fox invite you to revisit the Sept. 25 CU Boulder talk by labor futurist Heather McGowan, which focuses on how higher education institutions can confront the changing nature of work.Â
can be accessed with a CU Boulder IdentiKey, and the community is encouraged to use the video as inspiration for long- and short-term visioning and planning, and as a complement to the work the campus is engaging through Academic Futures and our other Strategic Initiatives.
