Health and Wellness Services will continue to offer services and programs throughout winter break. Services are available to in-state students, out-of-state students, incoming students and recent graduates.

Students in Colorado

Students who will be in the state of Colorado have full access to all of our break programs and services.

Mental wellness

Your mental health matters. Check out these services to support your mental well-being over break.

CAPS will be available for screening appointments to help students get connected with services. Screenings are available in person, virtually and same-day during designated drop-in hours.

AcademicLiveCare (ALC) is a telehealth platform that allows students, staff and faculty to schedule and attend counseling, psychiatry, nutrition and medical appointments from anywhere for free.

ThrivingCampus is a free service that can help you connect with community providers based on your interests, location, needs and insurance plan. You can even filter providers by specialty, gender and more.

Students enrolled in CU Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) can access community with no copay.

The CUCRC will continue to host two support meetings in person and virtually over break, including Recovery Talks and Community Meetings. These sessions are open to all students who are in recovery or interested in pursuing recovery from substances, self-harm, gambling, disordered eating, shopping and other harmful or addictive behaviors.

OVA is open and will have in-person and telehealth trauma specific counseling and/or advocacy services.ÌýSome in-person services andÌýdrop-in hours will be adjusted. Please visit OVA’s website or call 303-492-8855 to view hours or schedule an appointment.

WellTrack is a free app available to all CU Boulder students. WellTrack is designed to help you identify, understand and address concerns related to stress, anxiety and/or depression. Their self-guided programs provide an informative and interactive way to manage your mental health and learn about additional resources.

Physical wellness

Medical Services at Wardenburg Health Center will be open throughout break. Appointments are available for primary care, sexual and reproductive health, travel clinic and more!

Fall memberships at the Rec Center expire Dec. 31, 2024. Students who are enrolled in spring classes will have access to the Rec Center throughout winter break.

Free health and wellness supplies such as hand sanitizer, throat lozenges, sleep masks and ear plugs, safer sex supplies, and more will be stocked in the Wellness Suite on the third floor of Wardenburg Health Center.Ìý

Do you have a medical question? Out of state students can continue to receive support and answers from their provider at Wardenburg through the MyCUHealth portal. Please note, this tool is not an alternative for medical care. Providers are available to help you connect with services where you are if needed.

Recent Graduates

Did you graduate this semester? Recent grads have access to select programs and services.

Recent graduates who are in the state of Colorado can continue to take advantage of CAPS over break, regardless of their insurance plan.Ìý

Recent graduates who are in the state of Colorado and enrolled in CU’s Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) can continue to schedule medical appointments at Medical Services.Ìý

Fall memberships at the Rec Center expire Dec. 31, 2024. Alumni can continue to access The Rec through the purchase of a ‘University Affiliate' membership which offers daily, monthly, semester and punch pass options.

Students enrolled in CU’s Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan will continue to have insurance coverage through Dec. 31, 2024. You can schedule appointments wherever you are with .

Incoming Students

New to CU? Incoming students can access select services made just for you.

Do you have a disability or temporary medical condition? Be sure to register with Disability Services to access academic and housing accommodations for the spring semester.

Need health insurance? Incoming students can enroll in CU’s Anthem Gold Student Health Insurance Plan to make sure they’re covered this year. The insurance portal opens Dec. 17, 2024 and coverage is effective Jan. 1, 2025 before classes start on Jan. 13, 2025.Ìý

If you have a chronic medical condition, you can schedule a meet and greet appointment with the chronic care team at Wardenburg Health Center before the start of the semester. These appointments are free and offer students a way to discuss their condition, treatment plans and learn how Medical Services can continue to support them at CU. Call 303-492-5432 to schedule an appointment.
