Jonathan Hanson is pursuing his Master's in Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Marco Nicotra. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from University of Idaho in 2017, and worked three years developing software for embedded test systems in the semiconductor industry before joining CU Boulder.
His research interests focus on optimal control methods, and designing high-performance embedded software to leverage them in robotics and aerospace applications.
When he's not in the lab, he can be found running, rock climbing, learning a new board game, or keeping his guitar in tune.
