Jacob Cook is the founder of and is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Colorado at Boulder under the supervision of John Hauser. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from CU Boulder in 2012 and 2017, respectively.

His research at CU Boulder focuses on the Modeling and Control of a Tilt-Wing Aircraft, although he has been involved in a variety of control projects including the Laser Control for Trapped-ion Quantum Metrology. He was the Teaching Assistant who helped me develop the Control Systems Laboratory and he served as a mentor to Andrea Mengozzi during his research stay at CU Boulder.

Jacob's interest in applied research makes him a proficient embedded system engineer, capable of transitioning projects from theory and simulation to hardware design and implementation.
