Anne Cross Theurkauf
Aerospace Engineering

Last Updated: May 2020

Anne Theurkauf was an M.S. student in Aerospace engineering working under the supervision of Dr. Penina Axelrad and Dr. Marco Nicotra. She graduated from Lehigh University with dual B.S. degrees in physics and mechanical engineering. Prior to entering graduate school at CU Boulder she worked on precision inertial instruments as an engineer at Draper Labs in Cambridge MA.

Anne's master thesis greatly contributed to the Control of Optical Lattices for Quantum Inertial Sensing project, as she leveraged her aerospace coursework and background in instrumentation to explore various quantum control techniques. Anne recieved her M.S. degree in May 2020 and moved on to pursue a PhD in Aerospace Engineering, although she continues to contribute to our quantum efforts in her free (?) time.
