Virtual Engineering Immersion starts today

Learn about student groups you can join through Virtual Engineering Immersion! This three-day event features Zoom webinar panels with members of听various student organizations, promoting their clubs and answering any questions you may have. Dozens of groups from the CU Hyperloop team to Society of Women Engineers to Hack CU and more will be represented.

Plus, the University of Colorado Engineering Council will be raffling off听$75 Amazon gift cards to students who register and attend.

Dear Engineering Buffs,

The start of the fall semester at CU Boulder is always my favorite time of year. This fall is particularly exciting as our faculty and staff have been planning for your arrival full-time since May. We will need to navigate some unprecedented challenges together, but I truly believe that this unique semester will provide you with the opportunity to be the most prepared engineers that have ever graduated from CU. Let鈥檚 join together in supporting each other, protecting our herd, and being Forever Buffs.

Need a laptop or hotspot for classes?

Campus is providing free laptops and hotspots to check out听for students with financial need. To apply, contact a faculty听or staff member (e.g., an advisor) to submit the laptop/hotspot request form.

Students also can apply for up to $2,000 from the Student Emergency Fund that can be used to听purchase a laptop, books, software, pay for rent, food, medical expenses and more.

If you're serving as a TA or course assistant this semester, you may be eligible to check out other equipment from the college: headset mics, webcams, document cameras, and Wacom Intuos tablets. Visit the Tech Readiness webpage for more information.
