Virtual Engineering Immersion
Engineering Immersion is Going Virtual this Fall!
We know that times are tough and it is difficult to stay connected with other members of the community. With many major in-person college events being cancelled, the University of Colorado Engineering Council (UCEC) hopes to provide just as valuable online events that will provide students with a sense of community. This 3-day virtual involvement experience will feature various student organizations within the engineering school, hosting a series of webinars to promote their club to other students and how they can join.
How will the event work?
This 3-day event will have different student organizations holding panels as Zoom Webinars, ranging from 5-8 PM. Once you click on the schedule for each day below, you will see a registration link and an interest form link. Students who choose to attend a specific panel must register with the corresponding registration link. If you would like to learn more about the clubs in that panel, you can sign an interest form to be placed on their contact lists and receive more updates about their upcoming events. By registering and attending the panel, you get entered into a raffle to win a $75 Amazon gift card for each 1-hour session. Now that's an opportunity you can't miss, so make sure you attend as many sessions as you can! Check out what orgs are featured on which days below!
Get Involved!
Our wonderful engineering student organizations have put together short videos to promote their clubs to new and existing students. Visit our instagram @cuengcouncil to browse all the videos of orgs attending, and see which ones you'd like to learn more about. They are also available as a playlist on CU Engineering's YouTube channel . If you weren't able to make it to Immersion, we have recorded and uploaded all the webinars on the same playlist as well.
