RSVP for Buffs One Read author event

Thursday, Dec. 1. 11 a.m., Boulder Theater
Robin Wall Kimmerer, a scientist, member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and author of Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge and the Teachings of Plants, will speak in the on Dec. 1. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and the event begins at 11 a.m. The free event is part of the Buffs One Read, a campus-wide program produced by University Libraries and Student Affairs that builds community through the shared reading of one book.

The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is excited to announce the inaugural Biomedical Engineering Career Symposium at CU Boulder! The event is an opportunity for students from all majors to explore industry opportunities within the biomedical engineering field. Students who purchase a ticket will have access to many of the top biomedical engineering companies in Colorado and the opportunity to sign up for one-on-one meetings with company representatives. Dinner is included in the ticket price of $20, and financial assistance is available.

The 2023 Network Operations Intern Program is open for dedicated and hardworking students. The goal of the Network Operations Intern Program is to provide current students with exposure to a real-life network operation setting, while giving them the opportunity to learn about our industry. Spectrum provides an atmosphere that is intended to broaden an entry level candidate鈥檚 professional understanding while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment, and career development.

Join their engineering teams that build massively scalable software and systems, architect low-latency infrastructure solutions, proactively guard against cyber threats, and leverage machine learning alongside financial engineering to continuously turn data into action. They are actively hiring undergraduate juniors (graduating in spring 2024 or December 2023) for summer internship roles in software engineering, systems engineering, cybersecurity, and quantitative strategy at their offices in Salt Lake City and Dallas.

Interns work directly with full-time software engineers and other interns in the company鈥檚 Boulder office to develop low-latency, high-performance, proprietary trading systems. They participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, and college students of any year are welcome to apply.
