New this semester, General Advising Drop-In Hours are being offered at the Engineering Success Hub in the Engineering Center (ECNW 150)Ìýon Mondays from 1-3 p.m., .

Check in at the Hub reception desk and then meet with a professional staff academic advisor to discuss any general advising questions you might have (such as campus and college resources, enrollment dates/deadlines, major/minor exploration, etc.). Note that for more specific major-related questions you should consult with your Primary Academic Advisor (who shows up on your Student Success Team inÌýBuff Portal Advising).

Meet with a current engineering student to learn a new organizational tool or learning strategy! Engineering Peer Academic Coaches are trained by the Academic Success Team to help you explore effective learning and priority management strategies.

Academically, fewer than 12 semester credit hours is considered part-time enrollment.Ìý That may be an intentional choice and the right one for you, and/or may be due to:

• You may simply be on a waiting list(s) or still sorting out your course schedule.
• You may be in your last semester of enrollment with only a couple of classes left to finish up your degree.
• You may have just finished up a Winter Session course -- although that course is no longer an "active" enrollment, the course DOES count towards your spring semester enrollment (so include that as part of your overall spring semester credit load).
• You may be a partnership program student in Grand Junction or Gunnison. Although your CU Boulder coursework is less than full-time, with your CMU/Western coursework included you may reach 12 overall credits and be considered full-time.

In any case, consider the following factors which may be impacted by part-time enrollment (if applicable towards your specific situation):

• Financial Aid and/or Scholarships. Contact the campus Financial Aid Office if you have any questions or concerns about how part-time enrollment affects your financial aid package and/or scholarships.
• Tuition Rates. Review the Bursar’s Office Tuition Rates and Tuition Guarantee to learn about implications of part-time enrollment.
• Student Health Insurance. Check your health insurance policy to ensure you are still eligible for coverage while a part-time student.
• Eligibility for Living On-Campus. Check your housing contract to see if you need to be enrolled in a minimum number of credit hours in order to live on-campus.

International students should consult with the ISSS Office regarding part-time enrollment.

The CU Boulder Solar Decathlon team and Flatirons Habitat for Humanity are looking for volunteers throughout spring 2023 to help build a model single-family house as part of Boulder’s Ponderosa Stabilization Program.

The Musculoskeletal Research Center (MRC) and Center for Gait and Movement Analysis (CGMA) of Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) sponsor a summer internship for undergraduates or recent college graduates.
