Out in STEM (formerly the Student Alliance of GLBT Engineers)Ìýprovides networking, professional development, and social activities for undergraduate and graduate LGBTQ and ally students in the fields of engineering science, technology, and mathematics.
SHPE/MAES is a joint society of two national organizations. SHPE is the Society for Hispanic Professional Engineers and MAESÌýrepresents Mexican American Engineers and Scientist. We are a community composed of a diverse group of students from every engineering discipline.ÌýThey hold weekly member meetings where they discuss current events in engineering and hispanic/latino education. In addition they holdÌýprofessionalismÌýworkshops to better prepare members for their careers after graduation, and encourage attendance at the national conferences.
