National Postdoc Appreciation Week, Sept. 18-22

Next week is National Postdoc Appreciation Week

National Postdoc Appreciation Week听is an annual celebration to highlight postdoc research and discovery across the country. CU Boulder鈥檚听Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, in partnership with the听Postdoctoral Association of Colorado Boulder听补苍诲听, is offering both听virtual and in-person activities听each day of the week, including a breakfast celebration and BBQ social at Scott Carpenter Park.

Nominations open for college alumni awards

The nomination window for the is now open! These awards are considered the highest honors granted by the College of Engineering and Applied Science, and faculty and staff are strongly encouraged to consider nominating any alumni that they find deserving. Nominations are due Nov. 15. .

Provost hosting open forum for CU Engineering

Please join Provost Russ Moore for this fall鈥檚 provost open forum with the College of Engineering and Applied Science. This is an opportunity for him to share his academic goals for the year and for you to ask questions and engage in a discussion about the activities of听the Division of Academic Affairs at CU Boulder.

Nominate graduating students for awards by Oct. 13

Graduating undergraduate student award nominations are now being accepted for students graduating with their bachelor鈥檚 degree in December 2023!听 The nomination form is open through Oct. 13 for our eight award categories.

The complete set of criteria associated with each award听must be fully addressed by nominators, so please gather that information in advance.听 A good 听is available for your reference. 听Student winners will be notified by early November and will be honored and recognized at the December Engineering Graduation Ceremony.

Meet Broader Impacts Providers at campus expo

Wednesday, Oct. 18. Noon-2 p.m., CU Boulder Museum of Natural History
Broader impacts are one of two criteria used by the National Science Foundation to evaluate every grant proposal. This event will showcase resources on campus that aim to help with broader impacts plans, efforts and activities. RSVPs are requested.
