Celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day with two events

The College of Engineering and Applied Science is co-sponsoring a on Oct. 14 (registration required) and the 鈥淟and Back, Language Back鈥� workshops and panel discussions on Oct. 16. We invite all faculty and staff to attend and learn about issues and priorities that matter to regional, national and international Native and Indigenous communities.

Nominate student for graduating student awards

Deadline for nominations is Oct. 21
Graduating undergraduate student award听nominations are now being accepted for students graduating with their bachelor鈥檚 degree in December 2024!听 The听听is open through Oct. 21 for our seven award categories.

The complete set of听criteria associated with each award听must be fully addressed by nominators, so please gather that information in advance.听 Student winners will be notified by mid-November and will be honored at the听December Engineering Graduation Ceremony.

Web Express migration: What you need to know

From Oct. 28-Nov. 7, both the college website and faculty/staff site will be undergoing a mandatory migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. External users should not notice any downtime or differences, but it may affect college faculty and staff: 听

Both sites will be locked to content edits starting at 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25. The communications team will not be able to make changes until at least Nov. 7
After the sites are launched, users may notice broken links or missing content. If that happens, please fill out the so the communications team can address as quickly as possible.

You may also use the request form now if you have urgent updates that need to be made before Oct. 25.
