The听Distinguished Engineering Alumni Award (DEAA) honors graduates and friends who have distinguished themselves through outstanding personal qualities, knowledge, and significant contributions to their fields. This year鈥檚 winners are:
The听Recent Alumni Award (RAA) recognizes one outstanding alum each year for professional achievements, continued service to the college or university, and admirable personal characteristics within 10 years of graduation from the college. Congratulations to this year鈥檚 winner, Justin Whiteley听(MMechEngr鈥�14, PhD鈥�16).
The Alumni Engagement Medal (AEM) allows academic degree programs and the BOLD Center to recognize highly engaged alumni who impact their areas through volunteerism and听philanthropic support.听Check out the list of this year鈥檚 medal winners.
Wednesday, March 1. 4:30-6 p.m., Fiske Planetarium
Faculty from all colleges are invited to join Faculty Affairs Fellow Alaa Ahmed and others from across campus for light appetizers, a cash bar and conversation in the Fiske Space Gallery. To cap off the night, Fiske Director John Keller will lead an immersive experience within the 8K-x-8K full dome theater.听
The symposium provides a platform for sharing and expanding collective knowledge in the field of water, sanitation and hygiene in both domestic and international contexts. The symposium brings together leaders and WASH practitioners in social enterprises, the private sector, NGOs, academia, and development agencies.听
