Join Russ Moore for this spring鈥檚 provost open forum, an opportunity for him to share his academic priorities and for faculty, staff and students from the College of Engineering and Applied Science to engage in a discussion about the activities of the Division of Academic Affairs. Please bring any questions you may have for Provost Moore!

Deadline to volunteer: 5 p.m. Feb. 29
The BOLD Scholars selection process and application review is March 1-March 22. Volunteer application-readers will receive a dining hall meal card and a free drink at Violet Peaks!

In addition to contributing to our DEI efforts in the BOLD Center, reviewing scholarship applications is a prime professional development and service opportunity. Student applications will include demographics, a list of student activities and work history, general scholarship essay questions and one BOLD Center-specific prompt.

The process is electronic and can be done remotely. The BOLD staff will provide detailed instructions and a rubric. Readers have three weeks to review their list of applicants.

CU Boulder will be hosting the American Society of Engineering Education鈥檚 Rocky Mountain Section Conference in May. Faculty and staff are invited to share and present research, works in progress, innovations in curricula or instruction, or other areas of interest to the engineering education community.听

Join the college HR team for a drop-in event to create cards to recognize the strong women in your life!听HR will provide card-making supplies in celebration of International Women鈥檚 Day. If you鈥檙e able to provide the recipient鈥檚 address, they will also take care of mailing the cards.

The Engineering Excellence Fund鈥檚 mini-proposal cycle is now open! As a dedicated funding board, EEF allocates over $500,000 annually to support teachers, students and projects aimed at enhancing engineering education. This is your chance to secure funding of up to $3,000!

Applications are due March 6, and you can find more information on the EEF website.
