Artist Spotlight & Printmaking Workshop: Inspired by Alison Saar
Friday, December 13th from 1—3pm at the CU Art Museum
Are you feeling burnt out after studying for finals? Join museum lead attendants Bella, Riley, and Neb to learn how to make your own print on fabricÌýinspired byÌýAlison Saar. In this workshop, you will learn about linocut printmaking techniques and print your own linocut on quilt squares. One of your finished quilt blocks will be incorporated into a community quilt!Ìý
We encourage you to bring any spare or found fabric of your own, but we will also supply free fabric squares to participants. If you would like to bring your own fabric to print on, please bring some that are a minimum of 5x5 inches.ÌýÌý
Feel free to bring ideas for your design with you if you would like.Ìý
Light refreshments and materials will be provided.Ìý
