John Gibert听(Ph.D. Harvard 1991) studies Greek poetry, especially tragedy and comedy. His annotated edition of Euripides鈥櫶�Ion for the Cambridge Greek and Latin Classics is in press, and he has recently completed articles on听Ion,听Medea, and 鈥淓uripides and the Development of Greek Tragedy.鈥澨鼿e is author of听Change of Mind in Greek Tragedy (听Gottingen, 1995) and co-author (with C. Collard and M.J. Cropp) of听Euripides: Selected Fragmentary Plays II听(Oxbow, 2004). His articles have appeared in听Classical Quarterly, Classical Philology, and听Harvard Studies in Classical Philology, among others.
