The Dante Alighieri Society of Denver annually awards scholarships to college students attending institutions in the Denver metropolitan area or northeastern Colorado, who are studying Italian language, culture, history, or music. These scholarships must be used for approved study-abroad programs in Italy for either the subsequent summer or the following academic year.听To be be eligible for Alighieri Society awards, some knowledge of Italian is required.
