Meet Assistant Professor Ankur Gupta

Assistant Professor Ankur Gupta joins CU from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Princeton University.

Meet Professor Ryan Hayward

Professor Ryan Hayward comes from the Department of Polymer Science and Engineering at the University of Massachusetts -ÌýAmherst, where he has been researching mechanical instabilitiesÌýof soft materials, active polymer materials and interfaces and the self-assembly of polymer andÌýparticle-based nanostructuresÌýsince 2006.

Meet Assistant Professor Laurel Hind

Assistant Professor Laurel Hind comes to CU from the Department of Medical Microbiology and Immunology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she works as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow under Anna Huttenlocher.

Meet Professor Michael McGehee

Professor, James and Catherine Patten Chair in the College of Engineering and Applied Science and Renewable & Sustainable Energy Institute Fellow Michael McGehee joined the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering in 2018.

Meet Assistant Professor C. Wyatt Shields IV

C. Wyatt Shields IV will join the Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Â鶹ÊÓƵ in January 2020 as an assistant professor.

Meet Associate Professor Wilson Smith

Associate Professor Wilson Smith earned his PhD in physics from the University of Georgia under Professor Yiping Zhao, where he published his thesis Nanophotocatalysts Engineered by Oblique Angle and Glancing Angle Desposition for Water Purification and Water Splitting in May of 2010.

Meet Assistant Professor Kayla Sprenger

Assistant Professor Sprenger comes to CU from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she currently works as a Postdoctoral Associate for the Institute for Medical Engineering and Science and the Chakraborty Laboratory for Computational Immunology.

Meet Professor Timothy White

Gallogly Professor Timothy White joined ChBE in 2018. He previously served on the faculty of Case Western Reserve University and continues to work as a Senior Research Engineer and Team Lead for the Air Force Research Laboratory.

Meet Associate Professor Timothy Whitehead

Associate Professor Timothy Whitehead came to CU in 2018 from the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science and the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at Michigan State University, where he held the Johansen Crosby Endowed Chair as an associate professor.
