Scott Miller is the senior regional director for the Southwest region, which includes Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. Scott has focused on federal public land, natural resources, water, energy, and Indian law and policy during his career, including areas such as wildfire, land exchanges, biomass energy, forest restoration, and wilderness protection.
He has served as a visiting scholar at the University of Colorado School of Law, as senior counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources, as an Honors Program attorney and attorney-advisor in the Office of the Solicitor in the Department of the Interior, and as a biological technician for the National Marine Fisheries Service. Scott earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law and a B.S. in Biology from Vanderbilt University
