Founded in 1977, the Colorado China Council (CCC) is a not-for-profit, non-political, educational outreach organization dedicated to developing programs to deepen the American public's understanding and appreciation of China's history, culture and contemporary life.聽CCC聽does this by sending people from North America to China for either a month in the summer, or a full year to teach English, as well as other subjects, at Chinese universities.聽

The World Affairs Challenge (WAC) is an issue- and creativity-based academic program for聽middle and high school students that culminates in a day-long tournament at the University of聽Denver. Its broad thematic structure encompasses a variety of global topics, allowing virtually聽any student or teacher to find a topic of interest on which to focus their research.
